celebration.

Monday, Nov 23rd
3:00pm to 6:00pm
Wine Tasting: Pinot
We discovered a unique Pinot Noir and we think you'll be as amazed with it as we were.
You'll get a chance to sample it this evening. What makes it unique is that when this Pinot Noir
was made the winemaker did something that is rarely ever done. As wine sits in barrel
the wood allows a small amount of evaporation and an air pocket develops. In order to prevent
oxidation, small amounts of wine are added back to the barrel. This is called "topping off"
the barrel. Typically, the same wine from another barrel is used to top off. This winemaker has
chosen to top off his Pinot Noir barrels with Syrah wine. Syrah, known for it's deep color
and robust flavor adds another dimension to the Pinot Noir. The result is a Pinot Noir with very
rich, complex flavors. If you've ever felt that Pinot Noir just didn't have enough stuffing for you,
this is your wine. You should definitely come down for a taste!

Obviously, this would be a superb wine to serve with Turkey!
